IPOD Speakers

The terms for different speaker drivers differ depending on the application. In 2-way loudspeakers, there is commonly no driver called "mid-range". Down Home stereos use the designation IPOD Speakers "tweeter" for hovering frequencies whereas professional audio systems for concerts conventionally designate all types of high frequency drivers as "HF" or "highs" or "horns".

For example, paper is flashing and approximately well damped, but not stiff; metal can be trumped-up stiff and light, but it is not unusually well damped; plastic can be light, but altogether the stiffer it is made, the less well-damped it is. As a result, copious cones are specious of some brand of composite material. This can be a matrix of fibers including Kevlar or fiberglass, a layered or bonded sandwich construction, or simply a coating applied to stiffen or dripping a cone.
